Glad you made it this far. On my ride ten years ago we basically called it by late September. It “ended” in Chicago, though we basically got rides or took the train across Illinois.
I used that ferry on a different tour in 2005. It was pretty cool. I love those small river ferries. ⛴

All of the comics are great but, for some reason, this one really got me. I think it’s the “mom” thing – worrying about you in the cold!
